Dear Brawn Baby Appointment Policies

When booking an appointment at Dear Brawn Baby, you agree to the following policies. Please read carefully before booking. Note that the time allocated for each appointment is precise and includes a complimentary consultation.

Booking & Deposits

  • Advanced booking is recommended to secure your preferred date and time.
  • A deposit of R150 is required to schedule a service.
  • You can view all available appointments online before making payment at www.dearbrawnbaby.co.za

Appointment Confirmation

  • You will receive a confirmation email once your appointment is successfully booked.
  • If you do not receive this confirmation, your appointment was not scheduled. Please resubmit your booking.

Booking Channels

  • Appointments can only be booked online.
  • Bookings via Instagram, WhatsApp, or other messaging platforms are no longer accepted. These platforms remain open for enquiries and general communication only.

Cancellation Policy

We understand that life is unpredictable, and you may need to reschedule. If so, please provide at least 24 hours’ notice so we have the opportunity to fill your slot.

  • Cancellations made with less than 24 hours’ notice will result in forfeiture of your deposit, as it is used to reserve your appointment.
  • Arriving more than 30 minutes late will result in automatic cancellation of your appointment.
  • Arriving more than 15 minutes late will shorten your session to ensure it ends on time, and you will still be charged the full price of the services booked.

Children & Guests

Due to the delicate nature of our services, your eyes will be closed, and your lash artist will be fully focused. For your safety and comfort, please do not bring children, pets, or additional guests to your appointment.

Lash Sets & In-Fills

We do not provide in-fills on lash sets done outside of Dear Brawn Baby. However, we are happy to remove your existing lashes and apply a brand-new set.

Online Store & Product Purchases

In addition to appointments, Dear Brawn Baby offers products for purchase directly through our online store. By placing an order, you agree to the terms below.

  • Orders: All product orders are placed and processed via our website. An order confirmation email does not guarantee stock availability — final acceptance of your order only occurs once payment is confirmed and the item is confirmed in stock.
  • Pricing & Payment: All prices are listed in South African Rand (ZAR) and include applicable taxes unless stated otherwise. Payment is required in full at checkout via our available secure payment methods. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors, even after an order has been placed, and will notify you before processing if this occurs.
  • Shipping & Delivery: Delivery timeframes provided at checkout are estimates only. Dear Brawn Baby is not liable for delays, loss, or damage caused by third-party couriers once an order has been dispatched, though we will assist with tracking and queries where reasonably possible.
  • Returns, Refunds & Exchanges: Products may be returned or exchanged within 3 days of delivery, provided they are unused, unopened, and in their original packaging, in line with the Consumer Protection Act. Refunds will be processed to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Change-of-mind returns may be subject to a handling or restocking fee where permitted by law.
  • Faulty or Damaged Products: If a product arrives damaged or faulty, please contact us within 3 days of receipt so we can arrange a replacement, repair, or refund in accordance with your statutory rights.
  • Product Availability: Products are subject to availability. If an ordered item is out of stock, we will notify you and offer a refund or suitable alternative.
  • Product Use & Disclaimer: Products should be used as directed. Dear Brawn Baby is not liable for adverse reactions, misuse, or damage resulting from failure to follow product instructions or disclosed ingredients/allergens.
  • Intellectual Property: All content on our website and store, including product descriptions, images, and branding, remains the property of Dear Brawn Baby and may not be reproduced without permission.
  • Limitation of Liability: To the extent permitted by law, Dear Brawn Baby’s liability for any claim relating to a product purchase is limited to the value of the product purchased.
  • Privacy & Data: Personal and payment information collected during checkout is processed in accordance with our Privacy Policy and handled securely via our payment gateway provider.
  • Fraud & Security: We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order suspected of fraud or unauthorised payment activity.
  • Governing Law: These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa, and any disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of South African courts.
